It’s child safety week!  Have you thought about how to make sure your dog or cat is safe around kids?  Would you know how to do it?  We have a leaflet with some ideas, and work with many dogs and cats shortly facing the arrival of a child into their lives.

Don’t take for granted that your dog or cat will love a new child as much as you do.  There is advice on this blog about choosing a breed, how to get behaviour help and on the Kennel Club website, you will see their Safe and Sound Scheme which helps people to teach their kids how to behave around dogs.

If you are not sure about your dog, get a behaviourist to work with you to test and prepare your dog.  Don’t be the next newspaper story.

Want a talk for your club, school, group or community?  Ask us, we can help you.
